PMES

  • Sponsors public lectures and panels, many in collaboration with Princeton University
  • Publishes a newsletter, "Middle East News," six to eight times a year with a digest of current political thought and cultural events concerning the Middle East
  • Organizes public exhibits
  • Relays, by e-mail, selected articles from the Internet of current interest on the Middle East
  • Promotes Middle East culture at community events
  • Provides information and guest speakers

Recent guest speakers include: authors Norman Finkelstein and Ghada Karmi, Hon. Philip Wilcox, President of the Foundation for Middle East Peace, Ray Close, Gary Sick, Phyllis Bennis, nationally known commentator on Middle East and US-UN issues, Joseph Massad of Columbia University.
